1. Why you lose hair?
The male pattern of hair loss usually affects only front & central area of your scalp. Genetically your hair in this area is hormones sensitive. These hairs become gradually thin & die in a particular pattern. The hair on the back and the sides of head are genetically strong, live permanently and not affected by hormones. We use the roots (follicular units) of this permanent hair and graft them where you have lost hair.
2. How does medicines help in hair loss?
Medications help only when your hair root is alive. But in the place where your hair roots are dead, medicines don’t work. The only answer to grow hair in that area is to have Hair Transplant.
3. What is a FUE hair transplant?
A Follicular Unit Extraction, or FUE, hair transplant is a harvesting method of hair transplant surgery. A small “punch” is used to harvest single hair grafts one at a time and implant to the bald area in natural looking position.
The Follicular Hair Extraction (FUE) Transplant that we offer can help you change your look.It grows naturally and permanent. Maintenance free hair that you can cut, colour and style. You can comb, shampoo and oil them even have them regularly shave as well. The hair does not require special care. Hair Transplant is usually a day long procedure and done under local anesthesia. It is done as an clinic procedure, in very comfortable setting.
4. Does the Hair Transplant work?
Of course hair transplants work! Please see our Hair Transplant Photos. The principle is very simple. The genetic makeup of hair on the sides and back of the head is resistant to genetic pattern baldness. This makes it possible for the hair that you have on the sides and back of the head to be relocated to the area where it is falling. This new relocated natural hair will stay and continue growing.
5. Will I look natural?
The art of a hair transplant is not just the technical skill of the doctor, but also the doctor’s natural talent to be able to properly design the frontal hairline for each patient according to their features. A doctor with this ability can create a head of hair with a natural look. This is the difference between experienced doctor versus non-experienced.
6.Does the results are permanent?
Since the hair follicles that are transplanted to the balding areas are genetically resistant to going bald, they will continue to grow for a lifetime like hairs at back of your head.
7. Duration of the Procedure ?
The procedure may take 6 to 8 hours depending upon the number of hairs to be transplanted. Usually a procedure of 2500 to 3000 follicular units can be done in one day. If you need a procedure with more follicular unit grafts it can be performed in two consecutive days.
8. Can I undergo more than once hair transplant?
The potential number of implants that can be extracted from a person is around 8000 grafts or about 16,000 hairs. It is not possible nor ethically recommended transplanting all in one session. Several sessions – usually of 2500 grafts to 3500 grafts – are performed to distribute the extraction in the recipient area in a strategic manner so as to achieve the best results for the patient in the long term.
9. How soon can you join your work or fly or travel long distance?
Well usually 2-3 days of rest is sufficient. You need to avoid exercise, Gym, swimming, sex, sports etc. for a period of 5-7 days after the transplant. You can fly long distance the next days of the procedure.
10. Will I have a scar?
With the FUE Hair Transplant extraction method, the technique is much less invasive, leaving small pin size scars won't find with naked eye, even on a shaved head.
11. How long others will notice that something has been done your head?
Usually it takes 7 to 10 days to clear the scabs (dried blood). If you have white or fair skin the redness in the plantation area may remain for 3-6 weeks and you may have to avoid sun exposure. If you can wear a cap for this period things can go unnoticed.
