The Role
You will run the laser floor at DermaVue Thiruvananthapuram or Kochi, working directly under the consulting dermatologist. Every patient on your chair has been assessed, indicated and consented by a doctor first — you deliver the treatment, not the diagnosis.
We operate full-stack devices (GentleMax Pro, Fotona StarWalker, fractional CO2, RF microneedling), so you will learn multiple platforms, not just one. Fresh candidates with a clear commitment to learning are welcome to apply for the Associate Laser Therapist track.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laser hair removal, Q-switched pigmentation and skin rejuvenation sessions
- Maintain device calibration logs and consumable inventory
- Ensure strict infection-control and patient safety protocols
- Guide patients through pre- and post-care instructions
- Assist the consulting dermatologist during combination treatments
Requirements
- BSc / Diploma in Cosmetology, Dermatology Nursing, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with laser hair removal and Q-switched devices
- Training certificate from an authorised laser device manufacturer (Candela, Alma, Fotona preferred)
- Comfort explaining treatment plans to patients in English, Malayalam or Tamil
