Why we built DermaVue
A clinic our own families would walk into.
DermaVue began with a question our founders kept hearing from patients, friends and relatives across Kerala: "Where do I go for my skin or hair where a real doctor will actually examine me?"
Across India, the gap between scientific dermatology and what patients actually experience at high-street "skin clinics" has widened. Too often, the person evaluating a melasma, a stubborn acne, a hair-fall pattern or a pigmentation concern is not a dermatologist — and the plan offered is a pre-built package, not a clinical decision.
DermaVue exists to close that gap. Every DermaVue clinic is led by a board-certified dermatologist, supported by trained clinical staff, and governed by standardized, evidence-based protocols. The result is a network where the medicine comes first — and the experience follows.

Mr. T. S. Jagadeesan brings four decades of banking and financial leadership to DermaVue's board. He retired as Chief General Manager of Federal Bank after a 42-year career, during which he played a pivotal role in the bank's transformation — including the formation of its NBFC, general insurance and life insurance joint-venture subsidiaries.
His operational responsibilities at Federal Bank spanned Credit, Treasury, Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Information Technology and Operations. Post-retirement, he has served as Managing Director of KPB Nidhi Limited and Gosree Finance Limited, and as Director of Viswasanthi Foundation, Kesavaprabha Microfin, Beskyn Pvt Ltd and Federal House Construction Cooperative Society.
At DermaVue, he provides governance oversight on financial controls, risk frameworks and long-term institutional planning.

A group of senior clinicians, educators and specialty advisors who strengthen DermaVue's standards, training and evidence-based care. Council members are not full-time DermaVue staff — they advise the network on clinical strategy, protocols and physician development.

2016 · First clinic
Trivandrum opens.
DermaVue opens its first clinic in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) — the network's founding location, anchoring the brand in the state capital.
Second clinic
Thiruvalla.
DermaVue expands into Central Travancore, opening a clinic at Thiruvalla.
Third clinic
Kochi (Aluva).
DermaVue arrives in Greater Kochi with its third clinic at Aluva — and that is how the network started.
